I have been to Munich many times and keep coming back to this city every year. After visiting Munich this winter, I was happy to be back during the warmer time. We were very lucky with the weather – +25 degrees! The reason we were in Munich this time was to visit the Bayern – Borussia Dortmund football match which was one of our wedding presents. We have decided to stay at the beautiful Bayerischer hof hotel, located right in the center of the city.
Staying at the Bayerischer hof felt like living in the city of its own, it felt like this hotel has everything you can think of! The 6 restaurants of the hotel will suit the taste of any type of traveler: 2 Michelin-starred Atelier, Polynesian Trader Vic’s, typical bavarian Palais Keller and others.
My favorite part of the hotel was the rooftop terrace with the stunning view of Munich. The swimming pool and the gym are located on the top floor of the hotel as well and it was a perfect place to spend time at during the sunny days.
Staying at the Bayerischer hof hotel was a very special experience and I would definitely recommend spending tim there or at least coming for a couple of drinks at the Blue Spa lounge to see the amazing view of Munich that it has to offer.
