Top 5 hotspots in Hong-Kong

When I was planning our trip to Asia (Shanghai and Hong-Kong) I was very excited because I found a lot of spots I wanted to visit. So on our first day in HK we went around the city to try some of its best coffee. While we were walking around we stumbled upon some great shops and cafes that I didn’t know about. Here are my top 5 spots in Hong-Kong that I would totally recommend and I would love to go back to. Follow along!

To get to the NOC coffee & roaster we had to walk up the steep stairs of Hong-Kong and walk through one of its street markets. This cafe is located on Graham street near some other cafes and shops. We had a flat white and it was delicious! We loved sitting outside and watching the city and its busy inhabitants and visitors.
We stumbled upon this place accidentally and I am so happy about it! Showcase by Bread n Butter is a combination of a cute cafe and a clothing store. I fell in love with all the clothes in this store and got myself a beautiful dress – one of my new favorites! Showcase is located in PMQ – the former Police station that has been transformed into the new creative hub in the center of the city.

I have seen so many photos of the Common Ground lunch room on the internet that it was one of the places I couldn’t wait to visit. This is where we had lunch and tried the salmon-egg sandwich that was very fresh and yummy. Their coffee is one of the best in town as well.
Another spot I was very excited about was Cupping room. The reality was even better than my expectations, especially when we tried the incredibly delicious french toast with baked bananas! It literally tasted divine! And a great combination with a cup of piccolo.

Another great spot we found in Hong-Kong is a chain of cafes called Coffee Academics. This place serves all kinds of food as well as coffee and desserts. Coffee Academics also offers coffee classes for future baristas at their flagship location in Causeway Bay.
