During my recent trip to NYC, my best friend and I decided to stay in different areas of the city (from Downtown, to Midtown and Uptown and of course Brooklyn). In Brooklyn we stayed in two wonderful boutique hotels – Franklin Guesthouse and Henry Norman hotel. Both hotels are situated in the Greenpoint area of Brooklyn close to the neighborhood of Williamsburg and a lot of nice shops, cafes and bars.
Our rooms in both hotels were really amazing as they had their own kitchen and we felt as we were staying in a private apartment. The rooms feature beautiful artwork and unique pieces of antiques that makes them even more special.
One of my favorite things about staying in Brooklyn is the fact that you can enjoy the stunning views on Manhattan. We were really lucky to have our own rooftop terrace at the Henry Norman hotel where we got to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets EVER.
If you are planning to stay in Brooklyn, I would definitely recommend both these properties if you want to feel at home in NYC.
