Last month Rob and I spent a long weekend in Nice – one of my favorite cities in France and the biggest city of the French Riviera. It was my third time in Nice and I was looking forward to exploring more of this beautiful and sunny city. We stayed at the Splendid hotel & Spa that is part of the Warwick hotels and resorts. The hotel is located in the center of the city, just a few blocks away from the Promenade des Anglais and 10-15 minutes away from the Place Masséna and Vieille Ville (old city) of Nice.
We really enjoyed our stay at Splendid hotel and would definitely come back! Our favorite part of the hotel was of course the rooftop where the swimming pool as well as the chilling area were located. The rooftop of the hotel offers an amazing view on the city of Nice and its colorful rooftops with the beautiful mountains in the background. The breakfast area that is also located on the top floor of the hotel functions as the L’Essenciel restaurant in the evenings.
On the last day we decided to have breakfast in the room (since we had such a big terrace in our room!) and it was a great decision. We set up a table on the balcony and had a quiet morning with the stunning view on the streets of Nice.
В прошлом месяце мы с Робом провели выходные на Лазурном берегу, в одном из моих любимых городов Франции – Ницце. Это была моя третья поездка в Ниццу и я очень хотела показать любимому этот прекрасный солнечный город. Мы остановились в отеле Splendid hotel & Spa, который относится к отелям сети Warwick hotels and resorts. Отель находится в самом центре города, недалеко от набережной Promenade des Anglais и в 15-ти минутах ходьбы от главной площади Place Massena и старого города.
Нам очень понравился отель и мы бы непременно остановились здесь снова. Нашим любимым местом в отеле была его крыша, на которой располагается бассейн, джакузи, а также зона отдыха и откуда открывается невероятный вид на весь город. Завтраки также подаются на крыше, а вечером зона для завтраков преобразуется в романтичный ресторан L’EssenCiel.
В последний день нашего отдыха мы решили заказать завтрак в номер и позавтракать на нашем огромном балконе, откуда также открывался прекрасный вид на улицы города и даже кусочек моря 🙂
