A few weeks we got to explore the city of Rotterdam. What added to our great experience in this city was our stay at the Mainport hotel – membre of the Design hotels brand. This hotel fits perfectly in the city, with its modern forms and simple but exquisite interior. I hope that the photographs of the hotel can show you what this hotel has to offer to its visitors.

А сегодня я хочу рассказать немного об отеле, в котором мы остановились, тк это был один из самых необычных отелей, где мы когда либо жили!
The lobby of the hotel is very spacious and is a great place to relax. The windows of the reception are facing the beautiful harbour of Rotterdam. If you walk down the stairs from the reception you will get to the restaurant and bar area with the terrace at the waterfront.

The Down Under restaurant at the Mainport hotel is a trendy place to have dinner in the beautiful location. The menu of the restaurant consists of both European and Asian dishes.

The rooms of the hotels are designed in the simple and elegant style in the same way as the rest of the hotel. We stayed in the Waterfront Spa room which had a sauna and an oversized round jacuzzi by the window that offered and amazing view of the city.
The spa, pool and fitness center of the hotel are located on the top floor. You can get a massage in one of the beautiful rooms with the view of the city. The swimming pool has a funny photo of two women ready to swim!
The hotel looks really great at night time, when it is lit up in different colors. The view on the bridge is even more beautiful at night and the terrace of the Mainport hotel is a perfect spot to observe it.
The jacuzzi in the room has also changed at night time! It was possible to turn on the lights which turned the room into a disco club with a jacuzzi in the middle 🙂
