Cotton Cake is a concept store and cafe located in the Pijp area of Amsterdam. I have visited it many times before but never for breakfast. After seeing a photo of delicious buckwheat waffles on Instagram, I had to try it and now it is one of my favorite breakfast places in Amsterdam!

On the ground floor of the store you can find clothing, accessories, jewelry and a lot of other things. I love the design of this place, beautiful white color and the combination of different textures.
On the first floor of Cotton Cake you can find a few tables and a sofa to have breakfast, lunch or a cup of tea/coffee. We have chosen to have buckwheat waffles with berries, nuts and sour cream and porridge with blueberries, bananas and strawberries. Both tasted delicious and very healthy at the same time!
