Where to stay in Lisbon: Four Season Ritz

Last weekend my boyfriend and I went for a Valentine’s getaway to Lisbon! Apart from seeing the beautiful city of Lisbon we were lucky to stay in one of the most amazing hotels in Europe – Four Seasons Ritz Lisbon.
На прошлых выходных мы с любимым отправились в небольшое путешествие в Лиссабон! Скоро я напишу пост про нашу поездку и расскажу о своих любимых местах в городе, а пока что хочу показать вам отель, в котором мы остановились.

We arrived to Lisbon late at night and got to the hotel already after midnight. After entering the hotel we were amazed by the beautiful and spacious lobby area of the Ritz. The flower arrangement of orchids looks magical when lit up at night and the whole lounge area felt very royal yet warm.

Мы прилетели в Лиссабон поздно вечером и заселились в отель уже после полуночи. Когда мы вошли в главный вход отеля, мы были поражены шикарным интерьером холла с подсвеченной декорацией из орхидей посередине огромного зала.

The following morning we woke up looking forward to our breakfast but before that, we enjoyed our little welcome treats from the hotel – my favorite pasteis de nata!

Welcoming treats
Breakfast at the Four Seasons Ritz in Lisbon is probably the most exciting part of the stay. It is set up in a beautiful room and offers a great variety of different things to eat. There is a separate table for fruit, that was so fresh and juicy and tasted even better than in Singapore! I also loved the fact that I could have a whole bowl of my favorite raspberries for breakfast. Apart from the usual things such as eggs, bacon, salmon, cheese etc, there are also many Portuguese specialties to try.

After breakfast we went to check out the fitness club located on the last floor of the hotel. The view from there is just amazing and I was a little sad I didn’t have my running shoes with me to try the gym out. What I loved the most about it was the running track on the roof of the Hotel!

After a long day of exploring Lisbon and Belem, we were back at the hotel and didn’t want to miss the chance to try the spa at the Ritz. The weather during our stay was cold and rainy so it was great to relax by the pool and feel warm.

After spending some time in the Spa we came back to the room to get ready for the special Valentine’s dinner at the Varanda restaurant. It was so nice that we didn’t have to go anywhere in the rain but could just take the elevator to the ground floor and enjoy our dinner in the beautiful setting.

I couldn’t resist taking pictures in the stunning lobby area of the hotel.
The chef’s of the Varanda restaurant at the Ritz have created a special menu for Valentine’s day and we couldn’t wait to try it!

Before we started our dinner we were offered to try the special Valentine’s cocktails with vodka and strawberry foam and pieces – it was truly delicious and looked great as well!

The whole dinner was amazing, it consisted of four courses that were all delicious. My favorite part of the dinner was the dessert – it looked so pretty we didn’t even want to eat it!
The prettiest dessert ever

Lisbon is a great city to visit and what made the trip even better was being able to stay at this superb hotel with the best service I have exprienced! I will definitely stay here the next time I visit the capital.
