Hotels around the world: Taj Palace Marrakech

This year I have finally visited one of the destinations that was on my list for many years – Morocco! Unfortunately, this time I only got to visit Marrakech but it was definitely one of the most exciting trips I have had. First few days we stayed in a beautiful riad in the city centre. After experiencing the magical atmosphere of the Old Town part of Marrakech we moved to a different hotel for a more relaxing time. The second hotel where we stayed is called Taj Palace. This hotel was featured in the Sex and the City 2 movie. Taj Palace Marrakech if definitely one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at in my entire life.

From the moment you drive up to the main building of the hotel you notice its magnitude. When you walk into the reception you feel like being a guest in a palace of an Indian sheikh. The ceiling of the reception is covered with Swarovski stones of different colors and is decorated with a gorgeous chandelier. The lobby area of the hotel is one of the most beautifully designed rooms I have ever seen. The combination of the rich emerald and bright pink colors creates a beautiful atmosphere.

All of the rooms of the hotel are very spacious (at least 80 sq. meters!) designed in a beautiful Indian-Morrocan style and including a wardrobe and an outside balcony with a great view.

There are 3 restaurants in the hotel, the Indian-Japanese being my favorite one. Despite of the strange combination of different cuisines, all of the dishes were truly delicious.

В этом году я наконец-то посетила одну из тех стран, о путешествии в которую я мечтала много лет – Марокко! К сожалению, в этот раз мы успели побывать только в Марракеше, но это была одна из моих самых интересных поездок. Первые несколько дней мы жили в небольшом риаде (особый вид домов в Марокко) в самом центре города – Медине. После того как мы насладились особой атмосферой старого города и его колоритом мы переехали в другой отель для настоящего отдыха. Отель, в котором мы решили остановиться назывется Taj Palace Marrakech. Именно в этом отеле отдыхала Кэрри с подругами в фильме “Секс в большом городе – 2”!
