Dressing up for a celebration at Roermond

This Monday Rosanna (Billieroseblog) and I visited the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet in Roermond to find some items for a special occasion. After visiting a lot of nice stores like Sandro, Prada, Escada, Mulberry, Furla etc I finally picked my outfit which I thought would be perfect for a summer wedding and that is classy yet edgy. I have visited this outlet before and love coming back because of the variety of stores that it has. You can find everything from cosmetics and clothing to sportswear, luggages and kitchenware. It is also a perfect place to shop for some gift items, for example, if you are going to a wedding and need to get something for the couple. You can shop at Villeroy and Boch, WMF, Le Creuset and other shops.

A taste of Portugal in Amsterdam: Girassol

Last week my best friend was visiting me in Amsterdam and I wanted to take her somewhere special to have a nice lunch. Since we both like a mix of good food and a nice atmosphere, I immediately thought about Girassol. This place is probably the most photogenic restaurant in Amsterdam! The design of this place makes you feel like you teleported from Amsterdam to one of the restaurants in the center of Lisbon. I love the combination of blue and white, it just makes it feel so summery! If you feel like sitting in the sun and watching the boats pass on the Amstel river, Girassol has a very spacious terrace for you! Talking about food, we got some great dishes to share, like a sandwich with chicken, avocado and tomatoes, some delicious fries and healthy salad with shrimps. For dessert we had a crepe with ice cream and various fruits and it was a perfect ending to a wonderful lunch.

Get it on challenge by Pepe Jeans

For almost a year now I have been collaborating with Pepe Jeans and when I heard that this month the challenge is to put the jeans on without using your hands, I couldn't believe my ears! Especially because of my body type I really thought that this was impossible. Today I finally tried to put on my Pepe Jeans #powerflex jeans and I managed! It was so much fun and I still can't believe the result! This month you can win a pair of Power Flex jeans by entering the #getitonchallenge here . If you don't want to participate, at least take a look at some funny videos of others trying! Good luck!

Best cakes in Bremen: Cafe Tölke

Last weekend my parents, my fianceé and I visited Bremen for the first time and I really didn't know what to expect from this german city. I saw a lot of beautiful photos of the Schnoor area on Instagram and been dreaming of visiting it for quite some time now. When I asked for tips on my Instagram , I got a recommendation to visit cafe Tölke for some delicious cakes and as a real sweet tooth I couldn't help but search for this place. We were really happy to find a seat by the window on a busy Saturday afternoon. The first thing I fell in love with was the design of this place: old but at the same time very stylish and modern, with marble tables, wooden details and pink radiators! After I tried their poppyseed apple cake, I fell in love with this place even more, especially because they also serve good coffee! In any case, if you find yourself in Bremen, make sure to check cafe Tolke out!

Chasing the sun in Amsterdam

This week we celebrated King's day in the Netherlands and my favorite accessory of the orange color for the day were my new Blue Print sunglasses. Even though the weather was expected to be quite bad, we did have some hours of sunshine when I could use my sunglasses. I feel like the mirrored sunglasses are becoming more and more popular these days and will be a great accessory on the sunny summer days. These ones from Blue Print are of great quality and have the anti scratch lenses which is very useful especially with me who just throws sunglasses in the bag with the keys etc (shouldn't do it probably). I am so hoping for the spring to come back sun with the warm days when I can chase the sun!

Our Saturday routine video

Last weekend I filmed this short film about our Saturdays to share it with you and show you how beautiful the city looks like in spring. Even though it is in Russian, there are English subtitles added. Enjoy and follow me on Youtube here.

The cosiest restaurant in Amsterdam: De Luwte

De Luwte is one of my new favorite restaurants in Amsterdam and I am sad I only found out about it recently. Some time ago I met Iris - one of the most inspiring and motivating people I know - a beautiful mother, wonderful wife and a great entrepreneur. Together with her husband, Iris took over the De Luwte restaurant (that exists since 1986) in 2013 and gave it a new look. A couple of months ago Iris decided to change the look of De Luwte one more time and added some of her favorite details: lavender, pastel pillows, new cocktail bar and more. For me De Luwte is one of the cosiest restaurants in Amsterdam and is perfect for a romantic evening! It is located on one of Amsterdam's canals in between the Jordaan area and the Dam square. Apart from the look and the atmosphere, De Luwte also has some great dishes to offer to the guests and the menu changes once in a while. If you are looking for somewhere cosy and romantic to spend an evening in Amsterdam, this is the place to go to!

Michelin experience in Lugano: Innocenti Evasioni

Taleggio cheese fondue
During our stay at THE VIEW hotel in Lugano, we got to visit the Innocenti Evasioni restaurant awarded with one Michelin star. This restaurant is a new creation of the two chefs - Tommaso Arrigoni and Eros Picco, who own the Innocenti Evasioni restaurant in Milan.

We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed every single course of our 6-course menu along with the great wines paired with it. All the ingredients were fresh in the best traditions of the Italian cuisine. The menu of the restaurant changes throughout the year depending on the season. Our favorite dishes were the Taleggio cheese fondue with egg yolk, spinach and hazelnut and the chestnut gnochetti with braised beef sauce. Definitely recommended!
